Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter Scenes at Sayen Gardens. Plus a Bonus Photo!: Me in the Brown Gazebo with My New Owl Shirt. Owls Are My Favorite Species of Bird <3 Photos by Nature Photographer Pam Hirst at PKH Photography. Writing by Freelance Content Writer and Travel Blogger Meghan Hirst at Meghan Hirst, Writer.
My mom and I are going to refer to some of the flowering shrubs, flowers, and trees that we talked about previously. If you missed those, you can view them here: https://meghanhirst27.wixsite.com/my-site/post/sayen-gardens-part-2-azaleas https://meghanhirst27.wixsite.com/my-site/post/sayen-gardens-part-3-other-flowering-shrubs-flowers-and-trees. In addition, we will be presenting this post in sections to make it more convenient for you to determine which time of the year you want to visit.
Spring: The azaleas, lilacs, magnolias, and Pieris Japonica are in full bloom. You can enjoy seeing all of these exquisite plants simultaneously! This is when it is the busiest, so you may want to come here another time if you do not like crowds and/or feel nervous around a lot of people.
Late spring/early summer: The columbines, iris (species of flower), and peonies (species of flowering shrub) are out.
Summer: You can see black-eyed Susans during this season. You can also see cute many-hued koi swimming around below the water lilies in the pond <3 If you need a break from the sun, there are a lot of areas with shade and numerous benches throughout the gardens.
Autumn: Other than observing the leaves changing colors, you can admire the beautiful chrysanthemums.
Winter: There is not much during this time of course. The gazebo and bridges look nice and it is a good place to walk.
We hope you enjoyed reading about what you can see here during all four seasons! If you have been loving our blog, please consider donating to support our journeys :) Even if you cannot donate, we are thrilled to have you with us.
