We will be referring to an event that we discussed in our previous post. You can read it here if you missed it: https://meghanhirst27.wixsite.com/my-site/post/washington-crossing-state-park-nj-part-1-crossing-the-delaware.

In case you are having trouble reading the worn out sign, Continental Lane is the path that George Washington's troops marched on to get to Trenton on December 26, 1776. Traveling down this path is a thrilling experience! You cannot help thinking about how the Continental Army was just hours away from claiming a momentous victory when they were here.

Continental Lane is just one of many trails in this park. Trail maps are available online. We recommend searching for the New Jersey and Pennsylvania sections separately so you get the correct maps.

That is all for this post. We highly encourage you to experience this historic landmark for yourself! We will be talking about the Johnson Ferry House next.

What is the coolest historic landmark that you have been to?
