A breathtaking natural formation here!

Views of the Gorge and the Ottauquechee River. Photos by Nature Photographer Pam Hirst at PKH Photography. Writing by Freelance Content Writer and Travel Blogger Meghan Hirst at Meghan Hirst, Writer.

Quechee Gorge (aka "Vermont's Little Grand Canyon") is the most popular attraction in the park. TONS of tourists flock here annually to view it! This gorge is the deepest in the state (one hundred sixty five feet) and was formed when a massive glacier melted during the Ice Age :O

Something to remember: this is pretty obvious, but viewing this attraction is not suitable for people who are afraid of heights. Looking down at it can be disorienting.

The trails are next!

Have you ever visited a gorge in the U.S. or another country?
