Peddler's Village, PA - Part 2 Gingerbread Competition and Display

Updated: Dec 12, 2021

An exciting competition for both amateur and professional gingerbread artists. We are always blown away by these entries!

Grand Prize Winning Snowy Gingerbread House, Messy Breakfast Scene With Santa and Elves, Traditional but Elevated Gingerbread Houses, Scene Inspired by Our Favorite Christmas Movie: Elf :D, Gingerbread Competition and Display Sign. Photos by Nature Photographer Pam Hirst at PKH Photography. Writing by Freelance Content Writer and Travel Blogger Meghan Hirst at Meghan Hirst, Writer.

This free family-friendly annual event started in 1984. The event organizers typically set up over one-hundred pieces of gingerbread art :O You can view them anytime between November 19th and January 8th. Visitors are advised to refrain from touching the entries. It is best to attend on a weekday as opposed to the weekend because you probably will not have to wait to look at them.

For more details, including the names of the displays, artists, hours, location, competition guidelines and prizes, etc., visit the Peddlers Village website. You can also find several videos of previous gingerbread displays on YouTube.

The Christmas decorations at the village are next!

Have you ever participated in/seen a cool event like this one?
