An independent bookshop owned by cat lovers <3 There is a drawing of their beloved shop cat on their website. There is also a special sign dedicated to the cat by the register. Google rating: 4.4 out of 5 stars.

This bookshop opened in New Hope in 1967 and sells books for both children and adults. Like The Lahaska Bookshop in Peddler's Village, the employees are avid bookworms and know a lot about books. (If you missed that post, you can view it here: https://meghanhirst27.wixsite.com/my-site/post/peddler-s-village-pa-part-6-lahaska-bookshop). What sets this bookshop apart from that one, however, is its merchandise. There is much more variety here. You can find classic old novels, modern day biographies, and everything in between. Check out their website to see their book list. You can also look at the employees' book recommendations. Cool!

The history of Lambertville, New Jersey—a city adjacent to New Hope—is next!

Have you ever been to places that have shop cats/dogs? I always have to pet them <3
