This church is called the Old Stone Church and it was built in 1872. Oldestone is actually the second restaurant that has done business right in the church. The first was a cajun one that unfortunately closed due to the pandemic. Oldestone's new owner and new staff members made a tiny space dedicated to the original owner. A very kind gesture! This restaurant is more committed to preserving the church's history than the previous one; the pews and huge mural remain untouched and the bell chimes throughout the day.

Oldestone only serves dinner, which consists of upscale American steak, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. If you are dining on a budget, this is definitely not the right restaurant for you because the prices are really high!

Make sure to check out the restaurant's Facebook page for updates about food, drinks, and live music.

The Ferry Market is next!

Have you ever dined at an elegant restaurant? How was your experience?
