A small restaurant that specializes in seafood and sandwiches. The color of the building is one of my mom's favorite shades of blue :D Tripadvisor rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

This is obviously not a "sea view" XD You can get great views of food that comes from the sea here, though. We agree that the rating should be higher because this was some of the most delectable food we ate in Mystic! Along with their crab cake sandwiches, the best dishes are their lobster rolls, long dogs (large hot dogs), and french fries.
Sea View Snack Bar opened in 1976. Their logo includes an octopus that looks like it was pulled right out of a cartoon from this decade XD He is savoring multiple items that the restaurant has to offer. We encourage you to do the same!
This destination is right near Seaport Village and Mystic Aquarium, so you can stop for a bite to eat after visiting either of these places (or both :D).
You can see the full menu on their website at Seaviewsnackbar.Com. They also have a Facebook page: Facebook.Com/SeaViewSnackBar.
Important notes:
This restaurant only operates during spring, summer, and autumn. They will be open again on March 31, 2023, and will close at the end of October. Check their website or Facebook page for the exact closing date.
The parking lot is not very big since this is a small place.
There is no indoor seating, so you will need to sit in your car if the weather is bad. They tend to close when it is so bad that it impacts service and the customer experience. Be sure to check their Facebook page for updates.
There are no restrooms, but they have one port-a-potty.
This restaurant is dog-friendly, so do not hesitate to bring your furry friend (As long as they are well-behaved and do not snatch food from tables! XD)
The history of B. F. Clyde's Cider Mill is next!
Have you ever been to a snack shack-like restaurant such as this one? How was their food?
