Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, PA - Part 3 Bluebell Fields

Updated: Oct 16, 2021

Plan a trip here in spring if you want to see these beautiful flowers in person <3 They are my mom's favorite thing to see during this season.

Bluebell fields! This is another highlight of Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. Some amusing things happened while we were planning this part. I said "blueberry fields" because I was thinking back to when we presented the ones in Whitesbog Village. Then my mom wrote it when she was sending me photos XD You can read that post here if you missed it: https://meghanhirst27.wixsite.com/my-site/post/whitesbog-village-part-2-cranberry-bogs-and-blueberry-fields.

The sight of the exquisite flowers is not the only thing that this area has to offer. You can also hear water crashing down the dam in the distance and feel a pleasant cool breeze flowing through the towering trees. These trees block most of the raindrops when it is raining, so do not hesitate to venture here on a rainy day. Wear a raincoat anyway of course :)

Overall, this is an amazingly peaceful area of the preserve. You can really connect with nature here. We highly encourage you to experience it for yourself!

If you want to see more close-up photos of the bluebells and learn some fascinating facts, head over to our Facebook page. We did a post in April 2021 and another one in July 2021. The icon is at the bottom of our website.

The Founder's Pond is next!

Have you been to any incredible natural areas like this in spring or another season?
